Home alone ;0)

It was Nickie's turn to drive today, and we had a terrible journey there. First of all we had to take a detour because a road was closed and then the heavens opened on the M11 and visibility was horrendous.
The first we had to do was to go over all the details in preparation for the exhibition. Then we had a' bring a plate of food' lunch. Jenny made a wonderful blue cheese and apple bread, and was kind enough to give Nickie and I the left over piece, half each. She is going to be sending me the recipe soon so I can bake one for the family.
Lunch over, Pauline demonstrated how to make silk paper.
Christine is making a felt wall hanging inspired by St. Ives, I can't wait to see it finished.

While Pauline was doing work scrutiny, Nickie was showing us why we need an I-phone.

A much better journey home and for once I have the house to myself on a Saturday evening. Kezzy is away doing D of E, Rhodri is out with his girlfriend and Hubby has gone to visit Tony's wife Chris. So, no cooking tonight, I am going to have the Coronation Chicken and blue cheese bread to eat and get on with some stitching.
I have been cutting out more areas of the panel, and I know I said I wasn't going to show any pictures until it was finished, I am showing this one as it gives a better idea, of what I am trying to achieve. As the light is now not good enough to work on this anymore tonight, I am going to do some more to Henry and the vessel.
