Sunday

After the very long journey down on Saturday, it was a leisurely breakfast while we decided what we were going to do. When we were down in Cornwall in 2002, we found a wonderful nursery, Hardy Exoctics, selling very unusual plants. As there was a mizzen, we decided that's where we would go.
The Gunnera's were as big as my mother. I loved this plant called Justica Carnea, but we would need a conservatory to over-winter it in.

But we did find a few plants for our garden, an Ecium, Kiwi, another tree fern and a New Zealand Busy Lizzie, all apart from the Ecium will go in our Antipodean garden.

Then on to Penzance for coffee and cakes, before heading back to the farm .
