Y.E. meeting

Oh what an enthusiastic bunch of Y.E.'s Janette Bright ran today's workshop to make a sock monkey, the girls didn't want to stop when their parents turned up to collect them! (We also had some of the adults making sock monkeys, the white one below was made by Beth's mum. This monkey was made by one of the younger members of the group. We had a visitor today, Helen, who we had met at our Library exhibition 'Stitch a Square' session. She says she will come to the next meeting in October- silk painting. The sock monkey's came together for a photo call (some had pins holding essential bits),before going home.
The Y.E's meet in a hall behind Chelmsford Cathedral, I just had to take a photo of the lovely patterns in the brickwork.

Pauline has been at the opening of our exhibition today and says that we have had a lot of visitors, Nickie and I are spending the day there tomorrow. The Maeldune Centre has now been booked for our exhibition next year.
